What Changes are Coming on the 2019 Altima?
With a focus on excitement, sophistication, and practical advantages, the all-new 2019 Nissan Altima midsize sedan will embody a bold design language while also providing drivers and passengers plenty of attractive features. In this blog we are going to explore some of the changes coming on the redesigned Altima, as well as an estimated 2019 Nissan Altima release date.
2019 Nissan Altima Release Date
The eventual trim lineup of the new Altima will include S, SR, SV, SL and Platinum levels, with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine coming standard, and a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine available on upper models. Limited quantities of a premium Platinum VC-Turbo launch edition will be available starting early this summer. You can learn more about 2019 Altima engine options here. New Interior and Exterior Colors
On the interior of the 2019 Nissan Altima, the emphasis will be on light gray and natural colors, rather than the beige of years past, and matte chrome and satin finishes will abound. Simulated wood finish will be available, and the interior will be streamlined to offer functionality without clutter. On the exterior, the new Altima will be available one again with a premium Scarlet Ember premium color, and all-new Sunset Drift metallic orange, both which offer shifting, elegant appearance. Other traditional colors like gray, black and white will continue being available.

Advanced Safety Technology
In addition to new styling changes, the 2019 Nissan Altima will be offering cutting-edge Nissan Intelligent Mobility features. New driver assistance technology on this midsize sedan will include Rear Automatic Braking, which can automatically stop the car if you are backing out of a parking space, and Traffic Sign Recognition. ProPILOT Assist will also return as a standard advantage on the 2019 Altima SV, SL, and Platinum, and Safety Shield 360 will offer features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warnings, and blind-spot warnings, just to name a few.
